On the 1st December South Dublin County Council ran a Traveller Pride Café in St. Cuthbert's Community Centre, Clondalkin to celebrate Traveller focus week. Café participants included members of the Travelling community, service providers, local gardai and people from other ethnic minority groups. The conversations focused on positive aspects of Traveller life and culture and how these can best be maintained and promoted. A meet -the- neighbours Café took place on 24th March 2010 in Brookfield Community Centre. The Cafe was organised by South Dublin County Council and was attended by the Local Community, relevant Service Providers and menbers of an Garda Siochana.
